Pardee to release homes at Tamaracl
A new phase of homes will be released next weekend in Tamarack, the last neighborhood in Pardee Homes' Rancho Las Palmas community, according to sales executive Ray Landry. The 588-acre community has been attracting families to its southeast location for the past 18 years. About 3,200 homes will be built in the community that also has an elementary school, Hidden Palms Park and a shopping center. Five floor plans are offered. They are priced from $227,450 to $295,450 and have earned the Energy Star label from the Environmental Protection Agency by exceeding national energy-efficiency standards by at least 30 percent. The single-story Plan One measures 1,431 or 1,597 square feet. It has three bedrooms, two baths, an island kitchen and two-car garage. The larger plan offers a fourth bedroom or den. The single-story Plan Two measures 1,555 or 1,688 square feet. It has three bedrooms, two baths and a two-car garage. An additional bedroom or den is optional, as is a master suite. Measuring from 2,046 to 2,442 square feet is the two-story Plan Three. The home offers four bedrooms, or three bedrooms and an optional den; three baths; and a two-car garage. A bonus room is included in the larger plans. Plan Four ranges from 2,241 to 2,503 square feet in a two-story design with three to five bedrooms, a studio and loft, 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 baths, and a three-car tandem garage. A second-floor laundry room and linen closet highlight Plan Five. The home offers an optional downstairs guest suite, as well as three to five bedrooms, three baths, and options for a loft and bonus room. It measures from 2,229 to 2,892 square feet. To visit, take Interstate 215 to Windmill Lane, go west to Bermuda Road, proceed past Pebble Road and follow the signs. Hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except Monday, when it opens at 11 a.m.
