Shadow Hills Club hosts wine tasting event
More than 40 residents of Perma-Bilt Homes' Shadow Hills community attended a wine tasting event at the Shadow Hills Club last month, where more than a dozen wines, ranging from whites to reds and sparkling varieties, were sampled. Lynn Hasson, director of the 45,000-square-foot club in the northwestern valley, said residents enjoyed the holiday event and opportunity to sample a variety of wines and appetizers. The wine was presented by longtime Las Vegans Tony and Mary Scodwell. "Our residents enjoy these types of social activities, so we work to schedule a variety of events throughout the year ranging from ballroom dancing lessons to arts and crafts for kids to a group for new mothers and get-togethers to watch sporting events," Hasson said. The club, located at 3333 Spring Shadow Road, is available to residents of the builder's Stonecliff, Belle Crest, Grandview and Timberline neighborhoods in Shadow Hills. The facility features swimming pools, a spa, barbecue area, basketball half-court, putting green and patio seating. The club also offers fitness equipment, an aerobics area, locker rooms, saunas, a recreation room with a big-screen television, meeting areas, and kitchen. The Belle Crest neighborhood offers four floor plans, ranging from 1,362 to 2,363 square feet with as many as five bedrooms and three-car garages. Prices start from the $140,000s. Grandview is a gated neighborhood of all single-story floor plans, ranging from 1,736 to 2,460 square feet with as many as five bedrooms and three-car garages. Prices start from the $170,000s. Timberline features homes with as many as seven bedrooms and options for offices, casitas and studios. The floor plans range from 2,895 to 3,828 square feet and are priced from the $230,000s. To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to Cheyenne Avenue and go west. Model homes are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except Monday, when they open at 11 a.m.
