Del Webb releases new subdivision

Del Webb recently released a new neighborhood within Black Mountain Village at Sun City Anthem, an age-qualified community in Henderson.

The new collection encompasses 128 cul-de-sac and elevated home sites near the location of a planned third recreation center. The homes are expected to be ready for summer move-ins.

There are 12 single-story floor plans available, ranging from 1,496 to 3,175 square feet. Prices start from the high $200,000s to the low $500,000s.

More than 85 percent of the homes have been reserved, according to general sales manager Stacy Bruder.

"2006 marks the beginning of Sun City's grand finale of new-home sales in Anthem," Bruder said. "Our remaining neighborhoods are ideally situated in the community providing home buyers with an array of choices."

A few home sites remain available in Desert Sky Village, which is also located near the planned third recreation center due to open in 2007.

The new recreation center will include bocce and tennis courts, paddleball courts, an outdoor pool and barbecue areas, among other amenities.

Already open, the Anthem and Independence centers provide homeowners with a range of social and recreational amenities.

Anthem Center includes an indoor swimming pool and walking track, day spa, billiards area, sewing and quilting room, arts and crafts center, wellness center and computer lab.

Independence Center features an exercise and aerobics room, multipurpose room, woodworking shop, arts and crafts center, billiards area, community services center and an auditorium with a raised performance stage.

The Revere at Anthem, featuring two 18-hole golf courses, is a central component of the age-qualified village, which is part of the Anthem master plan. In addition to other residential developments, the community features a fire station, commercial components and other common areas.

To visit, take the Las Vegas Beltway to Eastern Avenue and go south, past St. Rose Parkway, to Anthem Parkway, turn left, proceed to Alexandria Drive, turn right and follow the signs.

The sales office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

Del Webb, a subsidiary of Pulte Homes Inc., also offers the Solera at Anthem, Solera at Stallion Mountain and Sun City Aliante age-qualified communities, as well as the all-ages The Club at Aliante and The Club at Madeira Canyon developments in Southern Nevada.
