Custom lots available in Summerlin

There are 15 custom lots currently available in the Summerlin master-planned community, and 13 are located in Promontory, a custom neighborhood in The Ridges that overlooks the Las Vegas Valley. Two lots remain at Willow Falls, a custom neighborhood within the gated enclave of Willow Creek.

According to Stew Gibbons, executive vice president of The Howard Hughes Corp., which oversees Summerlin development, the Promontory lots measure from one-half acre to three-quarters of an acre and are priced from $375,000 to $950,000.

Two are located near the Jack Nicklaus Bear's Best Las Vegas golf course, which is the centerpiece of the village and features replications of Jack Nicklaus' famous golf holes.

Much of Promontory is located at elevations topping 4,000 feet. It is the first custom community to be developed in The Ridges, which features guard-gated security. Promontory's planned amenities include a private park with a pavilion and Club Ridges, a members-only clubhouse with a resort-style swimming pool, fitness center, spa rooms and lighted tennis courts.

In Willow Falls, two of 80 one-third-acre lots remain, and are priced at $159,000 and $166,000, respectively. Willow Falls is one of four neighborhoods within the Willow Creek village that share a 24-hour guarded-gate entry and a private 7-acre park with tennis courts, a tennis pavilion, basketball court and playground.

To visit the home finding center, take Sahara Avenue west, past Hualapai Way, to Town Center Drive. Or, take Interstate 215 to the Sahara exit. The center is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
