TOLL BROS: Family at home in Summerlin

SPECIAL TO REAL ESTATE

Ara and Lisa Shirinian have been delighted with their new Toll Bros.' home in Summerlin -- both of them. The couple first purchased a home in Heritage Glen following the birth of their first child; with the birth of their second child, they decided to move up to a larger home just five doors away.

"We found a home that suited our needs. The neighbors were so nice and the location was excellent," Ara Shirinian said of the couple's first home.

When the time came to consider a larger residence, Lisa Shirinian said, "There was no question in our minds that it was what we wanted to do. The sales and construction teams at Toll Brothers had been so great, and we didn't want to leave our neighborhood. There were a lot of children there who were in the same age range as our kids and that was very important to us."

The couple's first home sold in one day, according to Ara Shirinian, an attorney.

"We know that the appreciation and the desirability of this community and these homes make it a worthwhile investment, but we plan on staying in our new Toll Brothers home for a long time," he said.

"The company really pays attention to quality and detail. They take their time to make sure you get the home you want. In our experience, it's been better than using a general contractor for a custom home."

Heritage Glen is located within The Willows village.

"Summerlin has a great sense of community. It's been designed so that essentially every block has a purpose," Shirinian said. "The architecture, landscaping and layout of the community give it the sense of being a small town."

In addition, "There's a park in our neighborhood, and always something to do," he said.

The Shirinians plan to move into their new home late this month.

Toll Bros. has been building homes for 37 years, and has more than 200 active subdivisions in 21 states.
