Major comfortable with Pulte

Dave Kumashiro said he finds Pulte's Gresham Park neighborhood in Summerlin Centre comforting.

Kumashiro, an Air Force major who transferred to Las Vegas from California, said the builder's designs and quality impressed him.

"I wanted something different and Gresham Park had the most unique floor plans and exteriors. In addition, Pulte homes are built with the highest quality, unmatched by any other builder I looked at," Kumashiro said.

Four single- and two-story floor plans are available, ranging from 1,359 to 2,000 square feet. Prices start from $209,990 to $255,990.

Kumashiro purchased a 1,998-square-foot, two-story home with three bedrooms and an island kitchen that opens to a great room.

Standard features included a side-by-side refrigerator; built-in oven and microwave; upgraded cabinets; solid-surface kitchen counter tops; under-cabinet lighting; crown molding; garage door opener with remote access key pad; laundry room cabinetry; security system; oak stair railing; and upgraded faucets.

"I really enjoyed the fact that Gresham had a list of included features that I didn't have to pay extra for. I got so much more for my money," Kumashiro said. "My home is very comfortable in temperature due to the energy-efficient features that Pulte includes in every home."

In addition, Kumashiro said he finds comfort in getting to know his neighbors.

"This is such a friendly neighborhood and we are always barbecuing or putting on block parties. In fact, we visit the sales office on walks and sometimes get to meet future neighbors while they are in the purchasing process," he said.

To visit, take Interstate 215 to Sahara Avenue, travel east to Town Center Drive and go north. Turn right on La Madre Mountain Drive and the neighborhood is on the left.

The sales office is open from noon to 5 p.m. on Monday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
