Models near completion at Sun City

Prospective home buyers can tour new models in their framing stages at Del Webb's Sun City Aliante, an age-qualified community within the 1,905-acre Aliante master-planned community in North Las Vegas.

"Sales are still in the early stages," Lorraine Roberts, sales manager, said. "Buyers can take advantage of attractive pricing and lot selections."

The floor plans range from 1,155 to 2,105 square feet and are priced from the mid-$140,000s to $234,500.

Also under construction is a recreation center. Its first phase is nearly complete, and its tennis courts are finished. The center also will offer bocce courts, a swimming pool, fitness center, and club and hobby rooms.

"We are excited that the community is taking shape so quickly," Roberts said.

The community is being built adjacent to an 18-hole, 6,900-yard, par-72 municipal golf course.

Its presales center is open at 7891 Tropical Parkway, Suite 120, in the Centennial Marketplace at U.S. Highway 95 and Centennial Parkway. Office hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

Aliante is being developed by North Valley Enterprises, an affiliate of American Nevada Co. and Del Webb Communities Inc. It is bordered roughly by Grand Teton Drive, Centennial Parkway, Decatur Boulevard and Clayton Street.

About 428 acres have been set aside for recreational and public use. A lake, parks, trails and natural arroyo are planned.

Commercial development and a gaming hotel are planned on about 100 acres.
