Rhodes' Rembrandt offers casita

Plan 3431 at The Collections in the valley's southwest Rhodes Ranch master-planned community features a first-floor, casita-style bedroom and bath. The design is convenient for buyers who work from home or those looking for a private area for live-in relatives or visiting guests, according to Ryan Soucie, director of sales for Rhodes Homes.

"The location of this bedroom is optimal for many of our buyers," Soucie said. "Complete with its own exterior access door near the entrance of the home, this room is perfect for keeping the home office or business separate from the rest of the house as well as providing visitors or relatives with a private place to stay."

The two-story, 3,431-square-foot plan includes five bedrooms, 4 1/2 baths, loft and three-car tandem garage. The design features a dining room, family room and island kitchen with nook.

The home has a second-story balcony at the front of the house. A model of the new floor plan is open in The Collection as part of the Rembrandt series.

The two-story, 3,021-square-foot Plan 3021 is also available. The home includes three bedrooms, three baths, a den, loft and a two-car garage. An island kitchen overlooks the nook, family room.

Standard features include beech cabinetry; raised-panel interior doors; 6 1/2-inch baseboards; ceramic tile in the kitchen and baths; Decora rocker switches; ceiling fan and/or light prewire in the family room, bedrooms and lofts; and a fireplace in family room.

The Energy Star-rated homes include aluminum framed low-e windows, a 50-gallon gas water heater, 13-seer air conditioning units and digital thermostats.

The neighborhood is located in the Rhodes Ranch golf course community and offers three series -- the Monet, Matisse and Van Gogh. The 14 single-, two- and three-story homes range in size from 1,467 square feet to 4,138 square feet. Pricing starts from the high $300,000s.

The builder recently opened the R-Club, a 35,000-square-foot recreation center complete with an indoor workout facility. The center will soon feature an outdoor water park, the Fun Zone.

Residents have access to the Ted Robinson Jr.-designed 18-hole golf course. The community is guard-gated with 24-hour roving security patrols.

To visit, take Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, to Durango Drive, then go south to Rhodes Ranch Parkway.

The builder is selling homes in its Palms Bay and Pacific Mist neighborhoods at Rhodes Ranch.

Sales offices are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
