Pardee's Palo Verde debuts

More than 1,500 people toured Pardee Homes' new Palo Verde neighborhood in Nevada Trails during its recent grand opening, assistant vice president of sales Ray Landry said.

The first phase sold out on the first day.

"Beginning with Palo Verde, three new Nevada Trails neighborhoods will offer exciting LivingSmart choices for healthier, more energy-efficient living in spectacular new designs," Landry said. "Palo Verde provides options that take energy savings to new levels."

Designed for energy efficiency, the homes also have earned the Energy Star label for exceeding national energy-efficiency standards by at least 30 percent.

Measuring from 2,817 to 5,051 square feet, the neighborhood features flexible courtyard-home designs with as many as six bedrooms and five baths. Homes are priced from $369,950 to $456,950.

The community also includes the Saddle Peak, Silver Tree and Manzanita neighborhoods, and will feature 13 acres of parks and trails.

LivingSmart was introduced at the builder's Vista Verde community in northwest Las Vegas.

To visit, take Interstate 215 to Rainbow Boulevard, go one mile south to Robindale Road and turn right. The sales center is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except Monday, when it opens at 11 a.m.

Pardee has built homes for more than 25,000 families in Southern Nevada since 1952.
