Sun City Aliante helps family stay connected
For Joseph and Sydelle Mendelson, purchasing a Del Webb home is a family affair. The two recently moved to Sun City Aliante from Sun City MacDonald Ranch, Del Webb age-qualified communities in North Las Vegas and Henderson, respectively. "We've been thrilled with the entire process. In fact, my sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Stanley Spierer, already live in Sun City Aliante and encouraged us to buy out here," Sydelle Mendelson said. In addition, the couple's daughter is sharing their 2,105-square-foot Coronado model home. "Our daughter, Denise (Burgueno), is a seamstress who works out of the office on the west wing of the home," Mendelson said. Because of the plan's separate living quarters, the family is able to share common living areas such as the great room and kitchen nook, yet maintain their privacy. The design features two bedrooms, two baths, and a library/office or optional third bedroom. Seven designs are available, measuring from 1,155 to 2,105 square feet. They are priced from $222,300 to $317,900. The community, the age-qualified component of the Aliante master plan, is built around an 18-hole municipal golf course. Planned amenities include a recreation center with tennis and bocce courts, a swimming pool, fitness center, and club and hobby rooms. To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to Interstate 215, exit east to Sky Pointe Drive and turn right. Proceed to Frontage Road and turn right, then turn left onto the interstate, exit at Aliante Parkway and go north. The sales office is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
