Townhome sales wind down at Fairway Pointe
Sales are winding down at Fairway Pointe, a townhome development that Chartered Homes is developing in the Queensridge community in the western valley. Of the 206 homes to be built, only nine remain. Five of the available homes are the single-story Brookhill plan, and abut the Badlands Golf Club. The Brookhill measures 1,453 square feet with two bedrooms and two baths. Two of the homes are ready for move-ins, and the others can be ready for occupancy within 30 to 45 days. The remaining single-story Cornwall also abuts the golf course. As the largest model available, the 1,604-square-foot home features two bedrooms, a den, solar screens, upgraded carpet, tile, appliances, laundry cabinets, and granite counter tops and backsplash in the kitchen. "These homes along the golf course are on the premier lots in Fairway Pointe with phenomenal fairway and mountain views," sales agent Judy Anderson said. "All of the homes are upgraded and some include landscape packages, so not only are the lots premier, the homes are, too." Also remaining are three Fairfax plans, which measure 1,593 square feet with dual owner suites and 2 1/2 baths. Prices start from $172,010 to $242,000. Anne Bartz, a realty agent, moved into her Brookhill plan home a year ago. "If a Realtor is sold on the community, that's a pretty good indication there's something good here," she said. Fairway Pointe is located on West Charleston Boulevard, just west of Rampart Boulevard. Models are open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
