Mandevilla records six sales in opening
The new Mandevilla neighborhood in Eldorado Highlands drew more than 1,000 visitors and recorded six sales during its grand opening weekend, according to Rob Tuvell, sales director for Pardee Homes. "Mandevilla is a winner," Tuvell said. "When you combine this great community with these large and finely appointed homes and add in the utmost in energy efficiency, it's a pretty good bet that families will recognize the value." The neighborhood is located within the Eldorado community in North Las Vegas. The one- and two-story homes offer as many as eight bedrooms and six baths and optional four-car garages. They measure from 2,512 to 3,899 square feet. Options include super bonus rooms, expanded owner suites, guest suites, libraries, tech centers and balconies. Four floor plans are priced from $197,950 to $233,950. All of the homes are built to standards earning the ComfortWise designation and the Energy Star seal of the Environmental Protection Agency. Such features include low-emissivity windows, high performance heating and cooling systems and tightly sealed air ducts, all of which are designed to save on energy costs. Plan One, a single-story home, measures 2,512 square feet with three bedrooms, a den or fourth bedroom, 2 1/2 baths and a three-bay garage. The island kitchen provides an option for base cabinets. The home also offers a courtyard entry. The single-story Plan Two is a 3,028-square-foot home with four bedrooms, three baths, a den and two-bay garage with shop room. Options include an extra bedroom, suite or expanded garage. The two-story Plan Three features eight floor-plan configurations ranging from 2,925 to 3,725 square feet. The standard plan includes five bedrooms, three baths, a three-bay garage and bonus room. Options allow for a bonus room, game room, tech center, sixth bedroom, fourth bath, den, balcony and four-bay garage. Plan Four, also a two-story home, offers four bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths, a three-bay garage, library and bonus room. It measures from 3,083 to 3,899 square feet. Options allow for as many as eight bedrooms, six baths, a bonus room, tech center, balcony, game room and four-bay garage. Mandevilla joins Talavera and Fontana as part of Eldorado Highlands, which offers a combined 12 floor plans in a model park located across the street from the 23-acre Seastrand Park. The 1,080-acre Eldorado is built around Lee Antonello Elementary School and the adjacent 9-acre Eldorado Park. To visit, take Craig Road to Camino al Norte and go north until it becomes Camino Eldorado, then follow the signs. The sales office is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except Monday, when it opens at 11 a.m. Since 1952, Pardee has built more than 25,000 homes in Southern Nevada and has developed several communities, including Eldorado, Rancho Las Palmas and Nevada Trails.
