Richmond American Homes will host A Sweet Celebration today at its Home Gallery.
The complimentary culinary event will feature live cooking demonstrations by Michael Jordan, executive chef and co-owner of Rosemary's Restaurant, located at 8125 W. Sahara Ave. Demonstrations are scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. and 12:30 and 2 p.m. Prize drawings will be held at the end of the event with prizes including GE Wine Coolers and gift certificates to Rosemary's.

"We're really excited about this event and expect an extremely strong turnout," said new home manager Susan Lee. "Chef Jordan is a local favorite, earning rave reviews at Rosemary's. He'll be preparing several of his favorite recipes, so this is a great chance to pick up cooking tips from a pro."
The builder will make a donation to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in honor of every attendee.
To attend today's event, take Interstate 15 to the Blue Diamond Road exit. Go west on Blue Diamond, north on South Dean Martin Drive, and right on Robindale Road. Take the first right into the parking lot, then take an immediate left and follow the parking lot to the Home Gallery, which is located at 7770 S. Dean Martin Drive, Suite 10.
A Sweet Celebration is one of several events Richmond American will host at the Home Gallery. Other events may include a seminar for first-time home buyers, a home-design seminar with advice from professional design consultants and additional culinary demonstrations with celebrity chefs.
"We take a lot of pride in offering a unique one-stop shopping experience at the Home Gallery," Lee said, "and our seminars and events take that to another level."
