Meritage Homes to offer Watermarke in southwest valley's Mountain's Edge

Meritage Homes has opened its Watermarke condominium models at Mountain's Edge, a master-planned community in the southwestern portion of the Las Vegas Valley.

The home builder, which held its grand opening for the gated condominium complex earlier this month, is offering $15,000 in incentives when home buyers use its preferred lender, according to Ruth Ochoa, vice president of sales for Meritage Homes, Las Vegas Division.

"When buyers look at Watermarke, they see more than condominiums designed to resemble estate homes with lots of architectural detail. They see a maintenance-free lifestyle, countless conveniences and the chance to enjoy significant savings during our grand opening phase," Ochoa said.

There are four floor plan, ranging from 1,085 to 1,549 square feet with up to three bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. Each plan includes a two-car, direct-access garage.

These single- and two-level residences include great-room or traditional layouts, with architectural highlights such as deck areas, patios, walk-in closets, kitchen pantries, linen closets and fireplaces with media niches.

Prices start in the mid-$200,000s.

Granite countertops and an upgraded GE appliance packages, including washers, dryers, refrigerators, gas ranges and automatic dishwashers are included.

Raised-panel interior doors, soft-water loops, programmable thermostats and security system prewiring are also standard. A standard structured wiring package ensures at-home connectivity.

A resident clubhouse is planned to anchor the development with a fitness center, entertainment great room and billiards room, outdoor swimming pool and spa area with a shade canopy and fireplace.

The models are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, except Monday, when they open at 11 a.m.
