Howard Hughes Corp. honors Summerlin Realtors



The Howard Hughes Corp. honored 200 Realtors and sales agents for new-home sales in Summerlin during 2003 at the community's fourth annual Realtor appreciation dinner, held at JW Marriott Las Vegas.

The top-selling on-site sales agents in condominium and townhome sales were Jeff Schoor and Lance Bazil of Westmark Homes for Garden Terrace. The top-selling entry-level home sales award was given to Cheri McMayon of Pulte Homes for Summerfield. The move-up home sales award was given to Frances Marks of KB Home for Capri. The upgrade home sales award was given to both Cheryl Pujadas and Julia Giordani of Woodside Homes for Estancia and Talaverde. The executive homes sales award was given to Jennifer Warner and Terri Pickering of Toll Bros. for Red Rock Country Club. For sales of a mixed price range, Ann Cropper of Sunrise Colony Co. for Siena won top honors.

Bruce Hiatt of Realty Executives of Nevada was the top agent with 44 new-home sales. Ten other Realtors received the Summerlin Circle of Excellence for top sales: Lydia Hu, Liberty Realty; Linda Narag-Villa, Las Vegas First Realty; Olga Severino, Realty Executives of Nevada; Jenny Shao, Mack Realty; Grace Madrid-Armstrong, Liberty Realty; Pat Yoest, Century 21 Aadvantage Gold; Barbara Ann Sundin, Affirm Realty; Bruce Miller, RE/Max Elite; Steve Howell, Prudential Americana Group; and Rob Jenson, RE/Max Central/Summerlin.

Liberty Realty (Buffalo office), along with Realty Executives of Nevada (Charleston office) and Prudential Americana Group (Rainbow office), were honored as the three top-selling real estate offices.

Summerlin has ranked as the nation's best-selling master-planned community 10 of the past 11 years, according to independent surveys. It aligns the western edge of the Las Vegas Valley and is comprised of villages.

There are nearly 120 models of the available houses, townhomes and condominiums, priced from the low $200,000s to more than $700,000. Custom-home sites in The Ridges are priced from the high $500,000s to more than $1 million, and predesigned custom homes are priced from $2.1 million. Apartments offer rents starting from the low $800s.
