Pulte Homes plans three grand openings

Pulte Homes is preparing for the Saturday, Feb. 28, openings of its Escala and Miramonte neighborhoods in Summerlin and the Pinehurst Collection of townhomes in Silverstone Ranch in the northwestern valley.

All homes exceed the Environmental Protection Agency's Energy Star requirements and are at least 30 percent more energy efficient than homes built to standard code. In addition, they feature the builder's Environments For Living technology and offer a three-year heating and cooling energy-use guarantee.

Escala features Southern Nevada's first "Water Smart" home, which was designed in conjunction with the Southern Nevada Water Authority Youth Advisory Council to promote water conservation and the benefits of desert landscaping.

The neighborhood's three single- and two-story designs offer water-saving features such as high-efficiency washing machines and dishwashers, low-flow showerheads, hands-free and foot-pedal faucets, dual-flush toilets, recirculating hot-water systems and drip irrigation.

Council members will be on hand from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the grand opening to explain the home's features.

Plans measure from 1,900 to 2,410 square feet and are priced from the mid-$400,000s.

The neighborhood is located within The Paseos village, which includes amenities such as walking trails and parks with playgrounds and picnic areas.

To visit Escala, take Interstate 215 to Charleston Boulevard, head west past The Vistas village to the stop sign and turn right. Turn left into The Paseos village, proceed to the dirt roundabout and turn right. Turn right onto Altura Verde and right on Prada Verde Drive.

Located in The Vistas village is Miramonte, where single-story floor plans are available. They range from 2,584 to 2,720 square feet and are priced from the low $500,000s. They include raised-panel cabinets with crown moulding, Corian counter tops, structured wiring and fireplaces.

To visit Miramonte, take Interstate 215 to Charleston Boulevard, head west to Vista Center Drive and turn right. Proceed to Park Vista Drive and turn right, then left onto Springbourne. Head to Viscanio and turn left.

Situated adjacent to the fairways of the 27th hole of Silverstone Golf Club, the Pinehurst Collection features townhomes measuring from 1,346 to 2,016 square feet. They are priced from the low $300,000s.

Planned amenities include a pool, recreational facility, tennis courts, parks, barbecue and picnic areas, and a putting green.

To visit Silverstone Ranch, take U.S. Highway 95 to Durango Drive, head east to Grand Teton Drive and turn right. Proceed to Buffalo Drive, turn left and follow the signs.

All sales offices are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except Monday, when they open at noon.

The builder, based in Bloomfield Hills, Mich., operates in more than 40 markets nationwide and offers 18 new-home subdivisions in the valley.

Its Del Webb brand is a leading builder of age-qualified communities.
