Training program preps new Pulte employees
Pulte Homes has implemented a 90-day training program for new employees as it prepares to open three new-home neighborhoods in the valley on Saturday, Feb. 28, as well as several others throughout the year. "The New Hire Training Program is a valuable tool in Pulte Homes' endeavor to integrate all new employees into our culture and value system in our daily relationships with our homeowners, contractors and peers," training manager Bryan McLeod said. McLeod developed the program along with Leanne Linsky, business solutions and cultural development manager. During the training period and before employees are placed in their positions, they are exposed to multiple areas of the company's operations. Courses focus on the builder's customer service philosophy, as well as communication skills and team building. Personality profiles are provided to help employees interact better with co-workers and customers. The training program works in conjunction with the company's goal to create Homeowners for Life by building homes that exceed the Environmental Protection Agency's Energy Star requirements. In addition to being at least 30 percent more energy efficient than federal standards require, the homes feature the builder's Environments for Living technology and offer a three-year heating and cooling energy-use guarantee. The builder, based in Bloomfield Hills, Mich., operates in more than 40 markets nationwide and is offering Silverstone Ranch and Wyeth Ranch in the northwestern valley; Serenata and Vialetto in the Aliante master plan in North Las Vegas; Paradiso, Hillstone, Miramonte and Escala in Summerlin; and Anthem Highlands in the Anthem master plan in Henderson. Its Del Webb division is a leading builder of age-qualified communities and is offering Sun City Anthem and Solera at Anthem in Henderson, as well as Sun City Aliante in North Las Vegas. The company also has a mortgage division. |
