Residences at MGM amenities appeal to second-home buyers

The Residences at MGM Grand offers a low maintenance lifestyle, which is ideal for second-home buyers, according to sales director Dan Riordan.

"The Residences provides a turnkey lifestyle of convenience where you can live part-time or year-round and come and go as you please," Riordan said.

"Many people are opting to use their residence as a second or vacation home."

Residents in each of the three 40-story towers will have access to the resort hotel's amenities via an enclosed, moving walkway that links to the towers.

Highlights include an outdoor pool complex with five swimming pools and private cabanas, the Grand Spa with 30 treatment rooms, signature and casual restaurants, shopping outlets, and entertainment.

Fully furnished studio, one-, and two-bedroom units feature crown moldings, raised panel wood doors, high-speed voice/data connectivity, granite counter tops, imported Italian kitchen cabinetry, and private owners' closets.

Additional features include Sub-Zero refrigeration, Miele appliances, spa tubs and flat-screen HDTVs.

The units range in price from $600,000 to more than $2.5 million.

Each tower will feature 24-hour front desk and concierge services, in-suite dining, a guarded security entrance, fitness center and swimming pool complex.

An MGM Grand and Turnberry Associates venture, the towers are under construction on the northeast end of the hotel's property.

All three towers will be adorned with 24-karat gold reflective coating. They will comprise 1,727 residences at buildout.

The first tower is scheduled for completion in June.

The 6,000-square-foot sales center is located in the hotel's Studio Walk. Visitors can view a furnished two-bedroom model residence.

The office is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
