Location draws condo buyers to Alexis Heights

The location of the new Alexis Heights condominium development has attracted several home buyers seeking a location in the southwestern Las Vegas Valley close to job centers, according to marketing director Tawnya Rosenthal.

"Nobody wants a long commute after being on their feet all day long and Alexis Heights is only a few miles from Interstate 15," she said.

The development features two floor plans, priced from $99,900. The Crescent, a one-bedroom, one-bath design, comes with a dining area and breakfast bar in 700 square feet. The Wellington is a two-bedroom, two-bath home with a dining area and breakfast bar in 950 square feet.

Each home has a patio or balcony, granite counter tops in the kitchen and baths, oak cabinets, a microwave, dishwasher, full-size washer and dryer, ceiling fans in the living room and bedrooms, built-in bookshelves, and wiring for cable television. Select units offer vaulted ceilings and skylights.

The complex features mature landscaping, courtyards, two pools and lounge areas, three spa areas, barbecues, a playground, jogging track, car-wash bay and dog run. The main swimming pool is heated year-round.

The recreation center offers an exercise facility, dry sauna, lockers, a racquetball court with a viewing area, entertainment room with a caf , and a fireside spa with heat lamps.

To visit, take Interstate 15 to Tropicana Avenue and drive west to Jones Boulevard, then go south, just past Reno Avenue. The sales office and models are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
