Realty professional settles in at Stonehaven

When Nancy Storey visited MacDonald Highlands in Henderson, she knew that was where she wanted to live. After considering the homes available at the community, the local real estate professional selected Toll Bros.' Stonehaven neighborhood for its location and investment potential.

"I was one of the first home buyers at Stonehaven. When I purchased my Toll Bros. home, the community's models hadn't even been built yet. But I loved the location and the lifestyle that the community offered," said Storey, who moved into her home in early 2000.

Of the four floor plans available, Storey selected the 2,932-square-foot Bellisle plan.

"I love my home's openness and the dramatic 12-foot ceilings," she said, adding that she opted for a courtyard entry and a fireplace in the owner suite.

Storey is not alone in her affection for the neighborhood. Of its first 29 home buyers, one is a real estate appraiser and two others are also realty agents.

"It says a lot about a community when real estate professionals choose to buy there," Storey said. "The quality shows. I've been really happy with the customer service offered by the Toll Bros.' sales staff. They've always been incredibly helpful and pleasant."

The neighborhood, which is located within the guard-gated MacDonald Highlands, offers homeowners access to such planned community amenities as a pool and exercise facilities at a clubhouse, tennis courts, a private golf course, playgrounds, and jogging and biking trails.

Nestled against the backdrop of mountains, the neighborhood is priced from the $400,000s. Three designs are modeled and measure from 2,932 to 4,063 square feet. A fourth design, the Messina, has recently been added to the lineup and offers 3,723 square feet, three bedrooms, a den and bonus room.

To visit, take Interstate 215 to Valle Verde Drive, turn south and proceed to Horizon Ridge Parkway. The models are open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
