COLUMN: Developer joins Centra Properties
-- Kenny Sullivan III has joined Centra Properties as a principal. Sullivan, who was involved in the development of The Lakes community and The Legacy golf course, has developed more than 300,000 square feet of shopping center space and built more than 1,000 housing units through Sullivan Development. -- Al Barbagallo, a real estate broker with 16 years experience, has joined CB Richard Ellis as a vice president and will focus on industrial sales and leasing. Previously, Barbagallo owned United Commercial Realty. -- Mike Dunn and Charles Van Geel of American Nevada Corp. represented the company in its five-year lease of 36,844 square feet of office space at 2500 Paseo Verde Parkway in Green Valley Corporate Center South to IDC Ltd., represented by Randy Broadhead of CB Richard Ellis, for $2.9 million. -- CB Richard Ellis' Bill Dunbar and George Okinaka represented Sport Chalet in its five-year lease of 39,800 square feet at the southeast corner of Charleston Boulevard and Fort Apache Road from Peccole Nevada Corp. for $3.1 million. In another transaction, Brad Peterson represented Green Valley Development in its five-year lease of 1,569 square feet at 2275 Corporate Circle to George G. Maalouf for $205,000. -- The GVA Industrial Property Group's Art Farmanali represented both parties in Wells Fargo Bank's sale of a 17,500-square-foot office/ warehouse building at 2011 and 2021 S. Industrial Road to Bedspreads of Nevada for $635,000. In another transaction, Farmanali and Richard Luciani represented PML Properties in the three-year lease of 9,166 square feet of office/warehouse space at 3990 W. Russell Road to ZBF for $207,384. -- NAI Horizon's Penny Mendlovic represented Goodwill of Southern Nevada in its 72-month lease of 7,600 square feet at 7091 W. Craig Road, Suite 1, from Craig Marketplace, represented by Hillary Stoltz of Great American Capital, for $848,160. In another transaction, Sally Rycroft and Sharon Frei represented Nathan Ozobia in his 60-month lease of 6,900 square feet at 4333 N. Las Vegas Blvd. to Summit Medical Group, represented by David Scherer and Kent Johns of Grubb and Ellis, for $713,949. -- Lee and Associates' G.
