Pulte's Desert Crest offers three home floor plans

After living in Las Vegas for five years, Kevin Prentice chose Pulte Homes when he went looking for a new home. Prentice selected Pulte's Desert Crest, a new neighborhood in the southwestern Las Vegas Valley.

"I was looking at new homes only, and I liked the southwest valley because it's going to be the new upcoming area of Las Vegas," he said.

Priced from the $200,000s, the private, gated neighborhood offers three two-story floor plans ranging from 1,480 to 2,191 square feet, with as many as four bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. The homes come with a two-car garage.

The neighborhood features a community swimming pool and playground.

Prentice purchased Plan 1781 because of its "open and spacious feel." His home measures 1,781 square feet with three bedrooms and a loft.

"This home happened to suit my needs perfectly," he said.

All Pulte homes are constructed with Environments for Living building technology.

With blown-in cellulose insulation and dual-pane, vinyl framed low-e windows, there is decreased internal and external contaminants; increased indoor air quality; decreased heating and cooling usage; and increased comfort, durability, and tightness.

To visit, take the southern portion of Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, to Durango Drive and go south to Pebble Road. Head west to Salvatore Street and turn left, then left again on Carradori Avenue.

Or, take Interstate 15 to Blue Diamond Road and go west to Durango. Then head north to Pebble and drive west to Salvatore and turn left, then left again on Carradori.

Office hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, except Wednesday when they open at noon. For more information, call 875-4430 or visit PulteHomes.com.
