Azure, a neighborhood located within The Ridges in Summerlin, has sold 70 percent of its custom-home sites in the first release, according to Peggy Chandler, senior vice president of community development for The Howard Hughes Corp., developer of Summerlin.
"Like the rest of The Ridges, Azure appeals to custom-home buyers seeking a beautiful luxury community with all the amenities and privileges of a Summerlin address," Chandler said. "Located on the hillside where West Desert Inn Road meets the mountains, The Ridges offers great valley views with Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area and protected BLM property as its backdrop. The views, combined with its stunning topography, create one of the most beautiful locations in the valley. Residents of The Ridges also enjoy access to all that Summerlin offers, including 100-plus parks, miles of trails, a full calendar of exclusive resident-only events and activities, as well as access to the best private schools in the valley."

Home sites range from one-fourth of an acre to one acre, and prices range from the high $400,000s to more than $1 million.
The neighborhood offers a range of custom-home sites.
"The smaller lots in Azure offer a more attainable option within the exclusive luxury market of Southern Nevada," Chandler said. "Yet, the neighborhood also contains many larger home sites -- some of them among the most exclusive offered to date in The Ridges. Azure features an attractive mix of lot sizes designed to accommodate a variety of custom homes."
Bordered by holes 3, 4, 5 and 6 of Bear's Best Las Vegas golf course, Azure also provides access to Club Ridges, the private sports and recreation facility for residents which is under construction. Club Ridges is planned to open this spring.
Azure is the seventh neighborhood to be developed within The Ridges. To date, more than 250 custom home sites have been sold in the community. The custom neighborhoods of Arrowhead, Promontory, Rimrock, Redhawk and The Pointe are sold out, while Falcon Ridge has only a few remaining home sites available for sale.
