Howard Hughes Corp. recognizes area Realtors



About 400 realty agents were recognized by The Howard Hughes Corp. for contributions to new-home sales in Summerlin last year.

Linda Narag of Las Vegas First Realty was named the top agent for the 47 new homes she sold in the master-planned community. It was the third consecutive year that Narag earned the honor. In recognition, she received an all-expense-paid trip to Lake Tahoe.

Rounding out the top 10 were: Bruce Hiatt, Realty Executives of Nevada; Dave Tina, Realty Executives of Nevada; Grace Madrid-Armstrong, Liberty Realty; Michele Sullivan, Prudential Americana Group, Realtors; Barbara Ann Sundin, Affirm Realty; Tom Buntic, newhomes.com; Shane and Liza Scott, Realty Executives of Nevada; Olga Severino, Key Realty; and Kirby Presswood, Prudential Americana Group, Realtors.

The top three selling firms were: Liberty Realty (Buffalo office); Realty Executives of Nevada (Charleston office); and Prudential Americana Group, Realtors (Rainbow office).

Dan Van Epp, president of Hughes Corp., said more than half of last year's new-home sales in Summerlin were attributed to Realtors.

"We are grateful to the many Realtors who have contributed to Summerlin's successful home-sales record. We acknowledge their work and look forward to another mutually prosperous year," he said.

Single-family homes, townhomes and condominiums are priced from the mid-$100,000s to more than $700,000. Nearly 165 model homes are open.

Apartments feature monthly rents starting from the high $700s.

Community amenities include more than 100 neighborhood and village parks, 105 miles of trails, 18 schools, houses of worship, shopping centers, medical facilities, cultural facilities and business parks. Eight golf courses are open, including two Tournament Players Club facilities and Bear's Best Las Vegas.

To visit the home finding center, travel west on Sahara Avenue past Hualapai Way to Town Center Drive and turn north. Or, take Interstate 215 to Sahara and head east to Town Center. The center is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
