Enthusiasm for Aliante master plan proves contagious
Shortly after she started selling homes at Aliante, Lisha Baker, a KB Home sales agent, knew she would become a homeowner in the North Las Vegas master-planned community. "From the very beginning, it was apparent to me that Aliante was going to be a phenomenally successful community. I could not believe how fast our homes were selling and the excitement was contagious," Baker said. "I just couldn't resist buying a home here." Baker said she and her husband, Jim, were attracted to the community for many reasons. "The master plan includes lots of opportunities for recreation and leisure activities, as well as shopping and other conveniences. We love having the golf course and tennis courts so close to home, and with five grown children and six grandchildren, we will be making good use of Nature Discovery Park," she said. The Bakers chose the LaPrima design at the builder's San Destin Palazzo neighborhood. The two-story home has three bedrooms, a den, bonus room and three baths in 2,927 square feet. "We love the LaPrima design, especially the beautiful entry and staircase," she said. "It is a home with spacious living areas and plenty of bedrooms for when our children and grandchildren come to visit. I love selling the LaPrima design and I know we will love living in it. "Also, as an employee of KB Home, I am highly familiar with the level of quality and customer service our company delivers." Baker said she and Jim are looking forward to moving into their new home. "We can't wait to become part of this community," she said. "We love everything about it. It really is a special place to live." Aliante is a development of North Valley Enterprises, an affiliate of American Nevada Co. and Del Webb Corp. Its 1,905 acres include main and age-qualified villages that will have as many as 7,500 homes. D.R. Horton, Pardee Homes, Pulte Homes and KB are building homes in the main village, while Del Webb is developing the age-qualified Sun City Aliante. Homes are priced from the $150,000s to the low $400,000s. About one-fourth of the community is designated for recreational and public purposes. Amenities include the public Aliante Golf Club, parks, trails and an arroyo. Plans also call for two elementary schools, a middle school, fire station and about 100 acres of commercial development, including a resort with gaming. The sales center is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to the Interstate 215 east exit, proceed to the Aliante Parkway exit, and then go south.
