'Picky' buyer chooses condo at Carlisle

Summerlin development offers six floor plans

SPECIAL TO REAL ESTATE

Marcello Guimaraes was not going to settle for just any condominium home. He wanted a place that met all of his requirements: location, convenience, quality, price and, most of all, amenities. He found it at Carlisle at Summerlin.

"I looked for a place for a long time, but didn't find what I was looking for until I got to Carlisle at Summerlin," Guimaraes said. "I was amazed at the quality of standard features offered here."

Many buyers cite the property's location as a key reason for their purchases at the development, according to on-site sales agent Bill Scala.

"Marcello found what so many other people have discovered, which is that Summerlin is one of the most convenient locations in Las Vegas," he said. "A large number of our buyers are from Summerlin, and they want to continue to live in the area. A lot of our out-of-town buyers have heard about Summerlin, and when they visit our properties, they decide that this is where they want to live."

The low-maintenance lifestyle allows residents to enjoy the amenities, which include a clubhouse with a kitchen, large-screen television and fireplace, as well as a fitness facility with workout equipment, changing rooms and a dry sauna. Residents also can access a swimming pool, spa and a fireplace sitting area.

Six designs are available, ranging from 768 to 1,341 square feet.

The one-bedroom, one-bath Clifton plan features an open dining room and kitchen, a balcony off the living room, and a master suite with a tub and granite-topped vanity. It is priced from the high $100,000s.

The two-bedroom, two-bath Weston is also priced from the mid-$200,000s. The master suite has a tub and walk-in closet, as well as access to a private patio. The kitchen is open to the dining area.
