Green Valley Ranch community nears final sellout

As the Green Valley Ranch master-planned community in Henderson nears completion, new neighborhoods are approaching their close-out phases.

"That means the opportunity to buy a brand new home in one of Southern Nevada's most popular master-planned communities is coming to an end," said Samantha Bonham, community marketing manager for American Nevada Corp., the developer.

Neighborhoods open for sales are: Castle Rock Estates by Richmond American Homes, Meritage by Capital Pacific Homes, and Carriage Lane by U.S. Home. Prices start in the $160,000s.

The community features city parks, neighborhood parks, and a network of trails with gateway pavilions and rest areas.

The 38-acre Henderson Promenade and Special Events Plaza is planned to bring art, music and cultural events to the area. It is being developed by the city of Henderson on land donated by American Nevada Corp. The complex will include a 7,500-seat amphitheater and a 70,000-square-foot community center due to be completed in late 2001.

Green Valley Ranch is located south of Interstate 215, between Pecos Road and Arroyo Grande Drive.
