Christopher's van Gogh model ready for move-in
A van Gogh floor plan can be ready for move-in within 30 days at The Christopher Collection, a luxury home development built by Christopher Homes within Southern Highlands Golf Club in the southwestern valley. The van Gogh home is priced at $1,149,254 and measures 4,600 square feet. It can be ready for move-in pending the buyer's selection of flooring, according to sales agent Terri Pickering. "It is very highly upgraded with the finest in custom appointments and located on a beautiful golf course home site with combined fairway and mountain views," Pickering said. "Features include a swimming pool with two spas, covered patios along the entire back of the home, marble and granite surfaces in the kitchen and baths, premium appliances, custom interior paint ... The huge master suite has an adjoining exercise room with a private stairway leading to the front courtyard. Two oversized secondary bedrooms have their own private baths, and there is also a spacious home office or den." The neighborhood offers five single-story and 10 two-story designs, ranging from 3,000 to 6,200 square feet. Each offers numerous design modifications. Prices range from the high $400,000s to more than $1 million, which includes a $25,000 allowance for use at the design center. Kitchen amenities include stainless steel appliances, oak or maple cabinetry, and granite counter tops. Pickering said the builder recently released the second phase of homes at The Villas, another neighborhood within the Southern Highlands Golf Club. Prices at The Villas start from the mid-$300,000s to the mid-$800,000s. Seven floor plans range from 2,100 to 3,300 square feet. Each home features a courtyard and a backyard terrace, both designed as extensions of interior space. A fireplace is optional in the courtyard. "We are very excited about this new phase at The Villas, as this is the first release of home sites where buyers will have the opportunity to add an additional level to their selected residential design," Pickering said. "One-story plans can be expanded to two stories, while the two-story home can be expanded to three stories." Both neighborhoods offer lots along the golf course. Home sites at The Christopher Collection average about one-quarter acre. At The Villas, all landscaping is maintained by the community association. "The emphasis is on a relaxed, country club lifestyle," Pickering said. "Homeowners can come home, enjoy a swim or a tennis match at the club, arrange for a massage, or have dinner delivered from the clubhouse while they enjoy the views from their private patio." The Southern Highlands Golf Club features a guarded entrance, roving security, concierge services and abundant recreational facilities such as a planned sports and fitness center, swimming pool, tennis courts, and a Tuscan-inspired 42,000-square-foot clubhouse. The enclave is located on the southern edge of the 2,300-acre Southern Highlands master plan. To visit the community, take Interstate 15 to Lake Mead Drive and go west, following the signs. Models are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
