When Steven and Allison Schwendinger relocated to Southern Nevada in 2004, their new home search led them to a Pardee Homes' neighborhood in North Las Vegas.
They said their curiosity recently led them to their newest Pardee home at Highgate within the northwest master-planned community Providence.

"When we moved to Southern Nevada from Orange County, we were new empty nesters and envisioned what we thought our new life would be like," Steven said. "And, while we loved our Pardee Home at Fiesta del Norte, we were always curious about other new home developments from Pardee and other builders."
The Schwendingers said their interest led them to Highgate and the single-story Residence Two.
"We both walked into the Residence Two and we stopped talking -- we literally fell in love with the floor plan from the moment we each saw it," Steven said. "From the secluded courtyard entry to the large family room that is open to the kitchen and open living/dining room area, we knew that this home was a perfect fit for our current lifestyle."
The neighborhood offers one- and two-story homes from 2,221 to 3,413 square feet, with home sites averaging 6,600 square feet.
Features of design include courtyards, dens, adjoining family rooms, optional casita, studio, loft, optional workspace, parlor and optional extended great room in three elevations -- Spanish Colonial, Country European and Prairie Ranch.
Residence One is a three-bedroom, two-bath home with three-car garage.
Measuring 2,221 square feet, the single-story home offers an open kitchen design with a great-room layout, dining room and master bedroom.
Residence Three is a two-story design measuring 2,786 square feet with four bedrooms, three baths, loft, two-car expanded garage and optional casita or studio available on Plan Three X at select home sites. The home features a breakfast nook, island kitchen, open great room and dining area, downstairs bedroom and full bath, upstairs loft and laundry room.
Residence Four measures 3,413 square feet with four bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths, loft and two-car garage plus one-car swing garage. The design offers an optional extended great room in lieu of the parlor. The home can be built with an optional work space in lieu of the one-car swing garage. The design features a an upstairs loft and laundry room and optional balcony off the master bedroom.
