Southwest's San Niccolo debuts well



Southwest Homes sold 40 houses during the recent opening weekend of its new San Niccolo neighborhood in the Villages at Southern Highlands in the southwest valley.

"We were so pleased to see how quickly the buyers responded to San Niccolo," company President Todd Slusher said. "The success of our communities in Southern Highlands reflects the strong commitment we have to providing buyers with quality homes at affordable prices."

The gated neighborhood offers five one- and two-story designs featuring Tuscany-inspired architecture and landscaped back yards.

Measuring 1,655 square feet, The Refugio has three bedrooms and two baths. The home is priced from $197,990.

The Campana, measuring 1,819 square feet, offers four bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. It is priced at $200,990.

The Estrella and The Tucano measure 1,898 and 2,302 square feet, respectively. The Estrella, priced at $209,990, offers three bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. The five-bedroom, 3 1/2-bath Tucano is priced at $232,990.

The largest design, The Capri, measures 3,181 square feet and includes five bedrooms and three baths. It is priced at $277,990.

Amenities include ceramic-tile entries and walk-in closets. Options such as bonus rooms and upgraded cabinets are available.

Upon completion, the neighborhood will feature about 300 homes.

There are more than 20 neighborhoods within the community. Homes are priced from the $140,000s to the $400,000s.

To visit, take Interstate 15 south to the Henderson/Lake Mead exit, head west and follow the signs.
