COLUMN: ACHIEVERS
-- Daniel Doherty, senior vice president in the Industrial Division of Colliers International, Nevada, has been inducted as the 2003 President of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors. An expert in industrial sales and leasing, Doherty has personally concluded more than $95 million in transactions over the past two years. -- Alan J. Perlmutter has been named vice president at Longford Properties. Most recently, he was owner-president of Paladin Realty Group, a company he started after six years as chief operating officer for American Nevada Corp.'s Commercial Division. -- Grubb & Ellis Las Vegas appointed Dana Berggren to be a marketing assistant. She is responsible for producing marketing materials and providing administrative assistance to multiple teams of advisors within the company. Berggren recently moved from Chicago, where she was a real estate broker for five years. -- The Nevada State Board of Architecture, Interior Design and Residential Design recently elected its 2003 officers. The 2003 chairman is architect Greg L. Erny, and the secretary/treasurer is Larry D. Tindall, a residential designer.
