Green Valley Ranch continues to grow

Four years into development, Green Valley Ranch continues to offer a range of housing choices and myriad opportunities for recreation.
Housing ranges from townhomes to single-family homes to custom estates in a setting with parks, tree-lined pathways, ball fields, soccer fields, tennis and basketball courts, and bike trails. A third city park is under construction.
There are about 70 model homes open in the 1,310-acre master-planned community, which is south of Lake Mead Drive, between Pecos Road and Arroyo Grande Boulevard.
Neighborhoods open for sales are: The Cottages and Kimball Hill by Kimball Hill Homes; Monument Pointe by Spectrum Construction; Mystic Bay by Richmond American Homes; Stag's Leap by Nigro Associates; Carriage Lane and Mountain Pointe II Townhomes by U.S. Home; Sentosa by Kaufman and Broad of Nevada; Crystal Springs and Fontana d'or by Coleman Homes; Pacific Images and Pacific Trace by Pacific Homes; Copper Ridge and Summit Point by Pardee Homes; Meritage by Capital Pacific Homes; and The Estates at Green Valley Ranch by American Nevada Corp.
The master plan allots 775 acres for neighborhoods, 225 acres for open land areas, houses of worship and potential school sites; and 310 acres for commercial property. It is a development of American Nevada Corp., a Greenspun company and primary developer of Green Valley. The developer is also partner and development manager for the 1,300-acre Seven Hills community in Henderson.
