GlenEagles homes add personal touch

     The Wexford Design System allows entry-level home buyers to customize their floor plans, according to Albert Cota, a sales agent at the Wexford at GlenEagles neighborhood.
      "Our exclusive Wexford Design System allows home buyers to customize and personalize their selected floor plans in ways that were previously impossible, other than through building a custom home," Cota said.       Prices start at $104,990.
      The neighborhood features two subdivisions of one- and two-story detached homes, ranging from 912 to 3,248 square feet. Floor plans offer from two to six bedrooms and two to 4 1/2 baths. Three-car garages are available with select plans.
      Several floor-plan variations are available, and can be demonstrated on a computer. Buyers can add a family room, bedroom, den, secondary suite, formal dining room, kitchen nook, or fireplace, among other features. Once the buyer selects a floor plan, the sales agent can print it out and construction can begin.
      Buyers can choose from optional features such as Corian, granite and ceramic-tile counter tops; fireplaces; skylights; custom interior paint; upgraded appliance packages; custom cabinetry; upgraded electrical and plumbing fixture packages; a computer wiring system; a home theater system; upgraded door hardware; or a security alarm system.
      The neighborhood will comprise 350 Southwestern-style homes and landscaped areas.
      Standard amenities include concrete-tile roofs, lighted entries, front-yard landscaping with a irrigation, and block walls.
      The various interiors feature vaulted ceilings, plant shelves, rounded corners, cabinets in a choice of colors, owner suites with dual-sink vanities, garden tubs and walk-in closets in some homes, laundry rooms, and prewiring for cable TV and telephones.
      Each home comes with a 10-year new-home warranty protection program.
      To visit, take Craig Road east, past Martin Luther King Boulevard, to Kings Hill Road, then go south. The office is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
