Stonehaven features semicustom homes

Stonehaven, a Toll Bros. neighborhood adjacent to DragonRidge Golf Club in Henderson, will feature 59 semicustom homes.
"We are proud to have the only semicustom neighborhood in MacDonald Highlands," said Gary Mayo, vice-president/division manager for Toll Brothers Inc. "We think we are a perfect fit for young professionals and families who want to enjoy the beauty and elegance of MacDonald Highlands and DragonRidge Golf Club, but aren't in the market for a custom home."
Stonehaven is offering single- and two-story models in a variety of elevations with several options, including stone exteriors and casitas. The homes range from 3,000 to 4,000 square feet and are priced from the high $300,000s.
MacDonald Highlands is nestled in the McCullough Mountains. Other than Stonehaven, all neighborhoods will consist of custom-home sites.
The 1,200-acre community will have approximately 550 homes in 17 planned neighborhoods, with custom lots ranging from $130,000 to more than $1 million. Custom lots in the current phase range from one-third acre to one-half acre, and are priced from $130,000 to $795,000.
At the center lies DragonRidge, a private-equity club featuring an 18-hole championship golf course. It is scheduled to open in May, and a permanent 26,000-square-foot clubhouse is scheduled to open in fall 2001.
The development will also feature three neighborhood parks, encompassing more than 10 acres and featuring tennis and volleyball courts, a playground, and picnic facilities.
To visit, take Lake Mead Drive to Valle Verde Drive, turn south, and proceed to Horizon Ridge Parkway. Office hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.Richard Oglesby, executive vice president for MacDonald Highlands, Gary Mayo, vice president/division manager for Toll Brothers, Inc., and Rich MacDonald, president of MacDonald Cos., watch the development of Stonehaven.
