Green Valley Ranch buyers tout environment

When Samantha and Brian Podmenik moved to Southern Nevada, the Green Valley Ranch master plan in Henderson seemed the best choice.
"Green Valley Ranch was more appealing to us, because we felt it was more family-oriented and offered a more complete living environment," Samantha Podmenik said.
The Podmeniks chose a home at The Cottages neighborhood, by Kimball Hill Homes.
"We felt that The Cottages offered an excellent value and was attracting other young families like ours," Brian Podmenik said. "We could see that there are plenty of young children here and, since we are starting our own family, it was the exact type of neighborhood we were looking for."
Houses, townhomes and custom-home sites are being sold at The Estates at Green Valley Ranch by American Nevada Corp.; The Cottages by Kimball Hill Homes; Mystic Bay and Castle Rock Estates by Richmond American Homes; Carriage Lane by U.S. Home; Fontana d'or by Coleman Homes; Summit Point by Pardee Homes; and Meritage by Capital Pacific Homes.
To visit, take the Interstate 215 to Green Valley Parkway, exit south to the community.
Green Valley Ranch is being developed by the American Nevada Corp.Neighborhood amenities include the Henderson Promenade and Special Events Plaza, a 38-acre facility with a 7,500 seat amphitheater, 70,000-square-foot community center, 40,000-square-foot public library, pools, and a 21,000-square-foot city of Henderson police substation.
