Lake Las Vegas bistro introduces new menu
William Becker, executive chef at La Chandele, recently introduced a business lunch menu at the waterside restaurant, located within the Reflection Bay Golf & Beach Club at Lake Las Vegas Resort in Henderson.
"La Chandele's new lunch menu has been redesigned for the busy executive, the casual golfer and our returning guests," Becker said. "While a variety of new dishes have been introduced, our menu continues to feature many of the unique dishes that we are known for."
Featuring Mediterranean and Californian cuisine, the lunch menu includes a variety of salads, soups, sandwiches and pastas. Items are priced from $5 to $16 and are served daily from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The dinner menu includes seafood, beef, poultry and pasta.
The Mediterranean-themed golf and beach club features lake and mountain views from the north shore of the privately owned lake. The lake's northern shore also features the 496-room Hyatt Regency Lake Las Vegas Resort.
Other proposed facilities for the northern shore include additional hotels, European-style gaming, spa facilities, three 18-hole championship golf courses, a retail village, restaurants and residential properties.
The first residential offering on the northern shore is MonteCatini, a neighborhood of multiacre home sites priced from $2 million to $5.8 million.
The homes of Vila di Lago on the northern shore measure as large as 2,500 square feet. Homes at this guard-gated development are priced from $400,000.
On the other side of the lake, the SouthShore community features a guard-gated entrance and offers hiking, fishing, sailing, golfing and the SouthShore Yacht & Beach Club. Architectural designs are based on a Mediterranean theme. Home sites are nestled in the hillsides and are priced from $310,000 to $1.75 million.
At PortaCielo, a neighborhood within SouthShore, the third of five phases is under development. Three floor plans range from 2,460 to 3,500 square feet and offer several design options. The 72 homes are priced from $500,000, plus lot premiums.
The master-planned community recently launched its Lake Las Vegas Marine and Resort Services. Services include a boat launch; a store offering snacks, clothing, sundries, and boating and fishing supplies; boat cleaning, maintenance and refreshment stocking; courses in powerboat handling, sailing and boating safety; boat sales and rentals; and residential dock sales.
Harbor Club Memberships, available exclusively to property owners, includes a 20-, 24- or 30-foot boat slip in the 144-slip marina; full utilities hookup; dock lockers; and discounts on marine products and services.
The Resort Services program handles tasks for residents such as housekeeping arrangements, car washing, bill payment, maintaining residences while owners are away, landscaping and pool maintenance, home repair services, and limited concierge services.
Lake Las Vegas Resort is being developed by Transcontinental Properties Inc.
