Design fair scheduled at Renaissance
Special to Real Estate
The latest in new-home design trends will be showcased next Saturday at Renaissance, Pardee Homes' newest neighborhood in Seven Hills. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
"Design 2000 will showcase new design trends by a variety of experts in the fields of interior design, pool/spa design, landscaping, flooring, computers and kitchens in Pardee Homes' most elegant neighborhood in the Las Vegas Valley," Joyce Mason, vice president of marketing, said.
Homes at Renaissance were designed to provide residents with "a window into the future," according to Veronica Venedicto of Color Design Art, an interior design firm.
"Pardee has introduced a new standard of living with its Renaissance project, so our goal was to accentuate the elegant architectural style Pardee has built and pair it with colors and styles pleasing to the buyer profile," Venedicto said. "For instance, the Plan One shows off one of the newer movements in design to simplified elegance. It's more of a classic look with sleek lines and subtle tones.
"Renaissance's Plan Two model is a perfect example of a very big trend ... called Zen, for those into healthy-minded, meditative living. This is a look with a touch of Asian flavor to it, and includes a lot of neutral tones and natural light. ... The Plan Four is a perfect example of the top-of-the-line living with subtle elegance throughout the home."
Features include rotunda and courtyard entries, a butler's pantry, a wraparound balcony in one plan, sculptured fireplaces, high ceilings, and arched doorways.
Buyers can choose from five single- and two-story floor plans at the gated neighborhood, where prices start from $258,950 to $317,950.
The two single-story floor plans can be built with two bedrooms and a den or a secondary owner suite; four bedrooms; or three bedrooms and a den in about 2,700 to 2,800 square feet.
A courtyard entry opens into the single-story Plan Two, which offers an optional two-sided fireplace between the formal living room and family room.
The two-story homes range from 3,700 to 4,600 square feet with as many as five bedrooms. One design features a downstairs owner suite.
Options include bay windows, French doors to the courtyard entry, wrought-iron balustrades, lofts, dens, game rooms, bonus rooms, and a bar off the family room in Plan Four.
Kitchens feature ceramic-tile counter tops, oak- or white matte-finish cabinets, pantries and appliance packages. They can be expanded to accommodate commercial-grade appliances such as a 48-inch range and a 42-inch refrigerator.
A design center is available to assist buyers with their decorating needs.
All homes come with the Energy Star seal and ComfortWise designation, both of which verify the homes' energy efficiency. The benefits include a decrease in ultraviolet light due to specially treated windows; cost savings in utilities; and quieter homes due to vinyl-framed windows.
To visit, take Lake Mead Drive to Seven Hills Parkway, which is west of Eastern Avenue, and go south, following the signs. Models are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except Monday, when they open at 11 a.m.
