Donald Schaefer made a vow to his wife, Gaylynne, when they married 27 years ago. According to Donald, he has now fulfilled it with the couple's move to Sun City Aliante.
"I had promised my wife when we married that at some point in our future we would move into a brand new home," he said. "I can say now that it was worth the wait-- Sun City Aliante is wonderful."

The Schaefers purchased a Coronado floor plan.
The home features two bedrooms, den and island kitchen with dining nook.
"It's huge and the plan is so open," Gaylynne said.
She said she plans to host members of the community's West Side Newcomers Club, as well as the computer club.
Donald's investment in their new community has inspired him to serve on the homeowner's association board.
In addition to social recreation, the couple makes use of such community amenities as the indoor swimming pool, which can be used throughout the year.
Priced from the mid-$200,000s, the resort-style, age-qualified community is situated around the fairways of the Aliante Golf Club.
The community's seven single-story floor plans range from 1,155 to 2,105 square feet with as many as three bedrooms and two baths. A two-car garage is standard.
Other features include a clubhouse with conference rooms, game and hobby areas, billiard tables, a fitness center, a computer lab, tennis and bocce courts and walking trails with golf course views.
