Work, home mix for GlenEagles buyer

David Dowdell is a sales agent at GlenEagles, a Wexford Homes' neighborhood in North Las Vegas. He will soon become a homeowner there as well.

"I bought my home at Glen- Eagles because I am familiar with the integrity of Wexford Homes and the high level of quality, value and customer service this company provides," Dowdell said.

"In fact, working for Wexford Homes makes my job enjoyable, because I know that every member of the team is 100 percent focused on the satisfaction of our buyers. That kind of commitment makes me feel very good about selling homes here and totally comfortable with my decision to purchase one myself."

GlenEagles is one of two neighborhoods offered by the builder at Kings Hill and Alexander roads, just east of Revere Street. The neighborhoods feature one- and two-story floor plans, ranging from 912 to 3,248 square feet and priced from $115,290. The homes range from two bedrooms and two baths to a plan with as many as six bedrooms, 4 1/2 baths and a three-car garage.

Dowdell chose Plan 370-4, a single-story home with three bedrooms, two baths and 1,650 square feet.

"In my case, I liked the 370-4 plan because it is spacious feeling, yet convenient. The list of included features was very impressive, and I am customizing my home in a number of ways, including a two-way fireplace in my master suite."

Floor plan modifications can be selected through a computerized design system and include the addition of family and formal dining rooms, bedrooms, a den, owner suite, casita with bath, bonus room, wet bar, loft, and a third garage bay.

The homes include concrete-tile roofs; front-yard landscaping with irrigation; block walls; vaulted ceilings; plant shelves; owner suites with dual vanities, tubs and walk-in closets (some plans); and prewiring for cable TV and telephones.

The sales center is open daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
