Closeout nears at Castle Rock Estates in Green Valley Ranch

As the Green Valley Ranch master-planned community in Henderson approaches completion, several of its neighborhoods are in the final phase of sales, including Castle Rock Estates by Richmond American Homes.

According to sales agent Kimberly Elge, 13 of the gated neighborhood's 94 homes remain for sale. Priced from the low $160,000s, the floor plans range from 1,673 to 2,355 square feet and offer three and four bedrooms and two- and three-car garages.

"This is the last opportunity home buyers will have to purchase a new home built by Richmond American Homes in the Green Valley Ranch community," Elge said. "We are offering great close-out values on our final 13 homes. We have one home which can be ready for move-in very quickly, as well as a complete selection of our floor plans and home sites."

The community, a development of American Nevada Corp., offers the following neighborhoods, priced from the $160,000s: Castle Rock Estates and Mystic Bay by Richmond American Homes; Meritage by Capital Pacific Homes; and Carriage Lane by U.S. Home.

The community features city parks, neighborhood parks and a network trails with shaded gateway pavilions and rest areas.

Plans for the community's 38-acre Henderson Promenade and Special Events Plaza include a 7,500-seat amphitheater; a 70,000-square-foot community center with an aquatic center, scheduled for completion late this year; a police substation, which is already open; and a public library to be built at a later date.

The community is south of Interstate 215, between Pecos Road and Arroyo Grande Drive. To visit, take Interstate 215 to Green Valley Parkway and exit south to the community.
