U.S. Home `pampers' buyers
A U.S. Home promotion promises to pamper buyers at its neighborhoods throughout the Las Vegas Valley. For a limited time, included with each home sold are an owner-bath spa and built-in cabinets with pegboard in the garage. Buyers of inventory homes without a spa tub will receive an upgrade allowance in lieu of the amenity. According to the builder, these included upgrade items are valued at $2,795. "Two of the most desirable amenities that came to our attention in surveys showed our home buyers were particularly interested in a master-bath suite spa tub and the addition of garage built-ins. So we've combined something extravagant and luxurious, the ... spa, with something infinitely practical, the garage built-ins," sales executive Vicki Zoot said. Some neighborhoods feature gated entrances and offer homes measuring more than 4,500 square feet with design options. "Today's buyer is not satisfied with small rooms and long hallways with a series of doors. They expect space and openness in the main living areas with volume and vaulted ceilings, great room designs that flow effortlessly from casual to formal, and master suites that create a private oasis. Features such as recessed media niches for home theater systems; decorative pillars; creative wall detailing; accent windows; and kitchens with granite, rich woods, increased cabinetry storage and pantries have become the standard for our luxury homes," Zoot said. The builder's newest gated neighborhood, Palazzo Monte, has begun presales during its model home construction. Located in the Seven Hills community, the neighborhood offers four floor plans, ranging from 2,550 to more than 4,500 square feet on hillside home sites and priced from the high $200,000s. The builder recently premiered model homes at Carriage Hills in Henderson. The gated neighborhood offers six single- and two-story designs, ranging from 2,550 to more than 4,500 square feet. Prices start from the $240,000s. The homes feature stonework and verandas with balustrades, ironwork or stucco finishing. To visit, take Lake Mead Drive to Green Valley Parkway, go south and follow the signs. "Our buyers want homes that are as individual as they are, so we've added a number of these new exterior options. Buyers are tired of the `cookie cutter' approach evident in so many communities and these options give them an opportunity to have a more individualized look for their new home," Zoot said. Closeouts are under way at Wellington Estates, located at Silverado Ranch Road and Las Vegas Boulevard, and the builder's Palm Hills neighborhood on Horizon Ridge Drive in Henderson. Available homes are priced from the low to mid-$200,000s. In the northwestern valley, the builder is developing Torrey Pines Ranch, which features one-half-acre, cul-de-sac home sites; and Copperfield, which offers nine home designs ranging from 2,550 to more than 4,500 square feet on 70X105 sites. Both are priced from the $200,000s. In the southwestern valley, Stillwater Canyon, near Tropicana Avenue and Fort Apache Road, offers nine floor plans on 70X110 sites, priced from the $200,000s. The builder's Custom Residential Division features a model home at Paseo Place Estates on Buffalo Drive, just north of Sahara Avenue. All model homes and sales offices are open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. except Monday, when they open at 11 a.m.
