Rhodes Homes to open X-it model condominiums Feb. 10

Builder to hold grand opening for gated development

Rhodes Homes is gearing up for the grand opening of its model homes at X-it on Feb. 10.

The 178-unit gated condominium project, offers townhome-style living in the southwest part of the Las Vegas Valley.

"We can't wait to officially open the models to the public," said Ryan Soucie, director of sales for Rhodes Homes. "This product line is so unique and will really fill a niche in the valley that has yet to be tapped into."

The three-level condominium residences will range from 1,663 to 1,759 square feet. Each comes standard with an attached, two-car garage and a second floor terrace.

Floor plans include one-, two- and three-bedroom residences.

The one-bedroom, 2 1/2-bath design includes a hobby room, great room and loft. It is 1,663 square feet. A second or third bedroom is an option in this plan.

The 1,690-square-foot plan features two master bedrooms, 2 1/2 half baths, great room and a den.

The 1,759-square-foot plan offers two bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths, bonus room and a great room.

Prices begin at $294,325.

Standard highlights include granite countertops, kitchen pantry, Moen faucets and Shaker-style cabinetry. Raised-panel interior doors with chrome handles and surround sound prewiring in the great room are also standard.

Each residence meets or exceeds Energy Star ratings, with blown-in cellulose insulation, low-e windows, programmable thermostats and 40-gallon gas water heaters.

A 2,400-square-foot resident facility will offer a multi-purpose recreation room, exercise room, full kitchen and a lounge/media area. The facility will be highlighted by a residents pool, spa and deck area.

"We are looking forward to the grand opening and we are eager to showcase these great homes," Soucie said.

To visit from the south, take Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, west to Tropicana Avenue. Head east on Tropicana. Proceed to the northeast corner of Tropicana and the Beltway.
