William Lyon's Pahrump master plan adds three home developers

William Lyon Homes' 1,050-acre master-planned community, featuring single-story neighborhoods within a golf course setting, is in its third year of development and will soon include home designs by Classic Homes, Desert Wind Homes and Celebrate Homes, according to Linda Kemper, representative of the master developer.
"All three home builders have exciting communities planned to complement the upscale Tuscan-themed architecture that's established at Mountain Falls," Kempler said. "Our list of milestones at Mountain Falls is long and we look forward to celebrating the master-planned community's ongoing evolution with these new builders by our side."

William Lyon Homes' Cascata, Cascata Ancora, Tramonto and Bella Sera neighborhoods offer 11 single-story floor plans, measuring from 1,429 to 2,897 square feet with as many as six bedrooms and four baths. Priced from the $200,000s, Cascata Ancora, Tramonto and Bella Sera are currently selling; Cascata sold out in late 2006.
Located 45 miles outside of Las Vegas, in Pahrump Nev., the development offers views of Mt. Charleston.
Since its 2003 opening, 350 families have moved to the community which is centered around the 18-hole, parkland course, Mountain Falls Golf Club.
Residents have exclusive use of a centrally located community facility at the club with a fully equipped fitness center, locker rooms and resident lounge with a pool table. Fitness and recreational classes are offered at a nominal fee to residents. Outdoor amenities include a family pool, adult pool, spa and interactive water-play area.
The Mountain Falls Grill Room, located within the adjacent clubhouse, serves golfers, residents and the public. Banquet facilities can accommodate up to 300 guests.
Homeowner association fees are set at less than $50 per month. Upon completion, the community will feature neighborhood mini-parks and a 4-mile walking trail.
To visit, travel 45 miles west on Highway 160, Blue Diamond Road, past Interstate 15. Before reaching Pahrump, turn left on Manse Road. Proceed to Hafen Ranch and turn right, then left on Lakeview Drive, and follow signs to the Mountain Falls Information Center, which is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
