Christopher's designs provide flexibility in Southern Highlands

Twenty-one designs are offered at The Villas and The Christopher Collection, neighborhoods located within the guard-gated Southern Highlands Golf Club in the southwestern valley.

The flexible floor plans offer options such as elevators, motor courts, courtyard fireplaces, casitas, room additions, four-car garages, extra baths, bonus rooms, libraries, wine cellars and wet bars.

"Along with an incredible selection of residential designs, our buyers have the benefit of consulting with their sales professional, as well as professionals from our full-service, in-house design center. Our specialty is helping each buyer create the home of their dreams for a fraction of the cost and time they would have to invest in designing and building a custom home," Teresa Tebbs, a sales agent for builder Christopher Homes, said.

"If you drive through The Villas or The Christopher Collection, you immediately see how the variation in architecture, elevation style and color has created a neighborhood where no two homes are exactly alike and each showcases the distinctive taste of its owner."

The Villas offers eight designs that range from 1,983 to 3,400 square feet and are priced from the $400,000s. Select single-story plans can be expanded to two stories, while the two-story design can be expanded to three stories. Most of the homes are located in cul-de-sacs, and front-yard landscaping is handled by the association.

The Christopher Collection offers 13 designs that measure from 3,072 to 6,200 square feet and are priced from the low $500,000s to more than $1 million. The lots average about one-quarter acre.

Each buyer receives a membership to the golf club, upon application approval.

"Our homeowners have the luxury of a manned, 24-hour guarded entrance; roving security; a championship golf course; and a luxurious health spa -- all just minutes from their doorsteps," Tebbs said.

In addition to a private golf course, the club features a 42,000-square-foot clubhouse that offers dining, a golf library, a wine room, locker rooms and a pro shop.

The private spa offers treatment rooms, lounges, steam rooms, pools, a fitness center, lighted tennis courts and cabanas.

Christopher is also building The Enclave in Southern Highlands Golf Club. The gated neighborhood will feature 18 custom residences priced from about $2 million to more than $7.5 million. The home sites measure from about one-third acre to three-quarters of an acre and offer city, golf course and mountain views. Buyers receive a golf membership to the country club, upon application approval.
