Turnberry Associates' third high-rise development in Las Vegas, Turnberry Towers, is under construction as sales continue for the second 45-story tower. Sales and marketing executive John Riordan said the progress of the project solidifies the developer's reputation for success.
"You can feel confident knowing that if it's a Turnberry project, it will be built," Riordan said. Our experience and our knowledge accrued over 35 years in the industry sets us apart from other developers that don't have this type of history behind them."

Construction started on the east tower in June, three months after sales started. Ground will be broken for the west tower in early 2006.
Turnberry Associates, based in Florida, entered the local market in 1998 with Turnberry Place. In addition to Turnberry Towers, the company is also developing The Residences at MGM Grand. Locally, the firm has five residential towers under construction.
"The majority of people who are interested in purchasing a high-rise condominium feel more comfortable purchasing from a developer that has done this type of project before and has a reputation for a certain standard of excellence," Riordan said. "Once prospective purchasers are introduced to Turnberry Towers, they do not want to miss the opportunity to enjoy the simplicity and privacy that are trademarks of the Turnberry lifestyle."
The project is located at Paradise Road and Karen Avenue. Completion is expected in 2008, with the dual 45-story towers housing 636 units.
The one-bedroom residences with 1 1/2 baths feature an open kitchen design that branches out to the great room, and a counter bar.
The two-bedroom residences include dens, as well as two baths, living rooms and floor-to-ceiling windows.
In the west tower are two-bedroom, two-bath residences, which flow through the entire floor to maximize views.
Situated on the top 12 floors of each tower are the three-bedroom residences, which feature balconies.
All units will be finished with Italian marble baths and spa tubs, granite-topped European kitchen cabinetry, appliances and 9-foot ceilings. Prices start from $500,000 to more than $1.3 million.
With the push of a button, residents will be able to request their vehicle from valet, communicate with the front desk or schedule a maintenance appointment.
Each tower will feature a fitness facility, an outdoor pool with sundeck, landscaping, tennis, and 24-hour security.
The sales office and furnished model unit are located at 222 Karen Ave.
