Construction continues at Aliante
Construction continues throughout the Aliante master-planned community in North Las Vegas, including work on the information gallery, Nature Discovery Park and 18-hole municipal golf course. The 1,905-acre community is being developed by North Valley Enterprises, an affiliate of American Nevada Corp. and Del Webb Communities. Upon completion, it will comprise about 7,500 homes and 20,000 residents. An official grand opening is scheduled for the spring. Several home builders have begun presales at off-site sales centers. Del Webb Communities, which is building the age-qualified portion of the community with homes priced from the mid-$140,000s, has information available at 7891 Tropical Parkway, Suite 120, in the Centennial Marketplace at U.S. Highway 95 and Centennial Parkway. KB Home is building three neighborhoods offering homes priced from the $150,000s to $270,000s. Its information center is at the Iron Mountain Ranch neighborhood. To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to Ann Road, head east to Jones Boulevard, and then go north past Farm Road. Hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. Pulte Homes, which is developing two neighborhoods of homes priced from the high $100,000s to low $200,000s, offers information at its Diamond Creek neighborhood. To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to Centennial Parkway, head east to Jones Boulevard and go north. At Elkhorn Road, turn right and proceed to Thom Boulevard. Office hours are from noon to 5 p.m. Monday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. D.R. Horton plans to begin presales in early January for two single-story neighborhoods offering homes ranging from 1,950 to 3,350 square feet and priced from the $190,000s. An additional attached-home neighborhood will begin presales in February. Pardee Homes will open its sales office in the spring with completion of the model village for its gated neighborhood of one- and two-story homes ranging from 2,500 to 3,600 square feet. They will be priced from $213,000 to $252,000. About one-quarter of the community has been designated for recreational and public uses. Planned amenities include parks, trails, an amphitheater, picnic areas, sports fields and playgrounds. In addition, sites have been set aside for two elementary schools, a middle school, fire station and library. Commercial development will include shopping centers, office parks, restaurants, and a gaming hotel on 40 acres.
