State Housing Division closes bond issues


n The Nevada Housing Division recently closed two multifamily bond issues and one single-family issue. The closings included $18.3 million to finance the Orchard Club apartments, a 332-unit low- to moderate-income senior/family complex at Charleston Boulevard and Tree Line Drive; $8.6 million for Vintage Desert Rose Senior Apartments, a 184-unit seniors' complex to be built at 1701 N. Jones Blvd.; and $15 million for the Housing Division's Single Family Mortgage Purchase Program, through which mortgages will be offered at a 6.81 percent fixed rate with no discount points for Nevada's first-time home buyers.

n CB Richard Ellis' Bill Dunbar represented Collins and Aikman Products in the 10-year lease of 52,500 square feet at 4510 Meadows Lane to National Stores for $2.2 million. In another transaction, Perry Muscelli and Jeremy Green represented Public Storage Pickup and Delivery in its two-year lease of 25,527 square feet at 530 E. Pamalyn Ave. from Jennifer Park Family Trust for $230,000.

n G. Rodney Harbaugh of Lee and Associates represented Sea Wind II in its purchase of 26,343 square feet at 4495 W. Hacienda Ave. from the Hacienda-Arville Partnership, represented by Mark Schnipple of Terra West Realty, for $1.4 million. In another transaction, Shawn Barashy represented the Bigelow Aerospace Division in its purchase of 40 acres at the southeast corner of Clayton Street and Brooks Avenue from U.S. Mortgage, represented by Lori Ferrario of Colliers International, for $2.1 million. Mel Koich and Scott Owens represented both parties in the Las Vegas Industrial Park's five-year lease of 10,134 square feet at 6865 Speedway Blvd. to Herrick and O'Herron for $218,894. Koich and Owens also represented both parties in the Speedway's three-year lease of 5,067 square feet at 6959 Speedway Blvd., Suite W-108, to Champion Vinyl Products for $65,668. Barashy also represented New Hope Hospice in its five-year lease of 1,952 square feet at 8 Sunset Way to Green Valley Capital, represented by Greg Pancirov of Colliers International, for $120,815.

n Soozi Jones Walker of Realty Executives of Nevada represented ND Partners in its five-year lease of 1,220 square feet at 8665 W. Flamingo Road, Suite 124, to Weight Watchers of Las Vegas, represented by Bill Hogan of Grubb and Elllis, for $97,461.

n Michael Kammerling and Nelson Tressler of Grubb and Ellis represented Intercapital Development in its 10-year lease of 12,000 square feet in the Sahara Design Center at 7079 W. Sahara Ave. to The Rattan Place for $2.5 million.

n GVA Industrial Property Group's Dean Willmore represented Joseph C. Argier in the three-year lease of 16,800 square feet of office/warehouse space at 810 S. Commerce St. to Cartridge Recyclers for $148,400. In another transaction, Bill Walsh and Art Farmanali represented Geoff Gomes in his three-year lease of 1,050 square feet of office/warehouse space at 5360 S. Cameron St. to B and J Upholstery for $50,000.

n Colliers International's Michael DeLew, Spencer Pinter and Greg Pancirov represented EJM Development in its five-year lease of 4,315 square feet at 7260 Industrial Road, Suite 900, to Piper Products for $179,278. DeLew, Pinter and Pancirov also represented Sunset Corporate Center in its sale of 22,909 square feet at 6335 Sunset Corporate Drive to Southwest Linen for $1.5 million. Scott R. Gragson, John Kilpatrick and Robert Torres represented the T and J Fallon Family Trust in its purchase of five acres south of Durango Drive and Patrick Lane from Schripps Health Corp. for $580,000. Dan Doherty and Pat Marsh represented Harsch Investment Properties in its three-year lease of 2,000 square feet at 2707 E. Craig Road, Suite H, to Dena's Porcelain for $52,554.
