Pardee presents city with Christmas tree
The new Silver Mesa Recreation Center Complex in northwestern North Las Vegas was recently dedicated with the lighting of a Christmas tree, a gift from Pardee Homes. Company executive Klif Andrews was on hand for the ceremony as the $3,500 tree was officially lighted by Mayor Michael Montandon and Ken Albright, director of the city's Parks and Recreation department. The home-building company is developing its Fiesta neighborhood directly north of the complex. At Fiesta, buyers can choose from four floor plans, ranging from 1,383 to 2,315 square feet and priced from $133,950. The new 41,000-square foot recreation center, located at Allen Lane and Alexander Road, will feature an eight-lane swimming pool and classrooms. "Pardee congratulates the city of North Las Vegas for providing its growing number of families with top-quality facilities such as Silver Mesa Recreation Center," Andrews said. "Our Fiesta families will truly enjoy the new center, along with their many neighbors in Pardee's Eldorado master-planned community nearby." Montandon recognized the builder as being "an exceptional partner in the development of North Las Vegas," noting the company's numerous contributions to the community. The builder developed two parks, Seastrand and Eldorado, at its Eldorado community and dedicated both to the city of North Las Vegas, in addition to the land for Lee Antonello Elementary School. The company also assisted in the acquisition of land for Brian Cram Middle School. Pardee Homes has been developing communities in Southern Nevada since 1952.
