Custom lots ready at Red Rock

Choice custom lots are still available at The Estates, a gated enclave within the Red Rock Country Club community in Summerlin.

"The final opportunity to purchase a custom-home site within The Estates is nearing, with only one-quarter of the home sites remaining in the exclusive 86-home site neighborhood," sales executive Kevin Stall said recently. "The home sites in The Estates are truly exceptional, with a stunning natural backdrop of Red Rock, as well as sites on our Arnold Palmer-designed golf course, and elevated views of the Las Vegas skyline."

The home sites range from 15,000 to 20,000 square feet and are priced from $315,000 to $500,000. Buyers can use their own builder or choose from three floor plans in the Palo Verde Collection, which offers such features as picture windows, balconies, courtyards and a variety of customizing options. The homes are priced from the mid-$500,000s to the mid-$600,000s.

Plan 4203, a two-story home, measures 5,300 square feet. Highlighted by an entry courtyard and a curved staircase, it offers four bedrooms, 4 1/2 baths and a four-car garage. A wine cellar, casita and home theater are among the available options.

Plan 4202 can be built with as many as five bedrooms, 5 1/2 baths and three fireplaces in 4,728 square feet. A courtyard entry leads to a circular foyer in this home, which also offers a casita with a full bath. Additional highlights include a kitchen with an island cook top and an upstairs owner bedroom with a retreat.

Plan 4101 is a single-story floor plan measuring 3,765 square feet with three bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths. Additional features include a great room, island kitchen, owner bedroom with a retreat, and a trellis-covered patio. A four-car garage is standard and a casita with a bath is optional.

Sunrise Colony Co., the developer of Red Rock Country Club, offers the services of its Sunsation Program to assist buyers in building a customized home. Through the program, the developer acts as the general contractor and assists with inspections, architectural approval and design decisions.

Red Rock Country Club homes are priced from the $350,000s to more than $2 million. The single- and two-story floor plans range from 2,100 to 5,300 square feet with as many as six bedrooms and a four-car garage.

Country club amenities include a 44,000-square-foot clubhouse with a golf shop, banquet facilities, a meeting room, and casual and fine dining rooms.

The 8,000-square-foot sports club, which looks out to the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, offers health and fitness equipment, a sauna, steam rooms, an aerobics studio, locker rooms and a supervised children's area.

The aquatic center features a family pool, spa, adults-only pool, lap pool, splash-and-spray mini-park as well as an outdoor grill. The tennis facility offers nine lighted, hard-surface courts, including a stadium court.

The country club community is also home to two 18-hole golf courses, both of which were designed by Arnold Palmer. The rugged terrain of both courses is highlighted by canyons, lakes, waterfalls and streams. Also open is a practice facility with a double-ended driving range, putting green and chipping areas.

To visit, take Sahara Avenue west, past Town Center Drive, and follow the signs. Or, take Interstate 215 to Sahara and head west. Sales office hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

Sunrise Colony Co. is also developing Siena, an age-qualified community in Summerlin.
