Terra West brings holiday cheer to UMC
Children at University Medical Center recently received a visit from Santa and his helpers when a group of employees from Terra West Property Management brought gifts of books and stuffed animals to brighten the holidays. Each child also had a photo taken with Santa, which was given to them as a keepsake. "It is truly a remarkable experience to be able to bring smiles to kids and their families during this difficult time," said Audrey Fargo of Terra West's service committee. Other recent service projects for the company include raising funds for the Boys and Girls Clubs, a clothing drive for a women's shelter, and providing Thanksgiving dinners for families in need. One project planned for next year benefits St. Jude's and involves collecting Christmas cards, which will be recycled to create new ones to sell. Terra West's 60 employees perform services in the community year-round. "There are so many locals that need help throughout the year and our employees are committed to assisting different community organizations and hospitals in any way that we can," Fargo said. "It makes us stronger as a company to band together and help others." Terra West manages 158 community associations and more than 800 residential rental properties.
